More than a year and a half is the time taken for Google to make compatible Android TV with the function that allows us to create a group of speakers. From now you can listen to the same music in all speakers and a tv with Chromecast built-in of your home, since it is not necessary to have a Chromecast connected to the tv.
Google is updating the component Chromecast built-in of all the tvs and media centers with Android TV. If your device is not yet supported you can force the update by enrolling in the testing program through the Play Store. After update you will have to restart the tv or set-top box for the changes to take effect.
Once you have updated your Android TV as just take your mobile and open the application Google Home. Click on the icon β+β and then in the option Create group of speakers. There select devices we want it to sound like the time in our house. Click on Next, you want to put a name to the group of speakers and we accept.
Now to tell you the Wizard of Google that we want to listen to music in that group of speakers, the sound will be heard in the speakers, and televisions selected. The playback and the volume will be controlled as if it were a single device.
