WhatsApp continues to be the most used messaging application in Spain and although it is not the most complete, it has all the essential messaging features. One of the most loved by users are voice notes, which allow us to have a more fluid and timeless conversation, combining the advantages of a voice call and messaging chats.
The Facebook application would be preparing according to WABetaInfo to change how voice calls work. This change seems very simple, but it really is capable of radically changing the voice memo experience.
WhatsApp prepares a speed change in voice notes
Although voice messages are one of the most used characteristics in conversations, in WhatsApp they still have a lot of room for improvement. At the end of the day we all have a contact who either speaks too fast or too slow (I plead guilty to both charges), something that on more than one occasion makes us think “I wish I could change the speed of the audio.”
WhatsApp is finally testing an option to change the playback speed for voice messages. 🔥
This feature is under development and it will be available in a future update for iOS and Android.Screenshots will be published here on @WABetaInfo when available in a future beta build.

WhatsApp finally would have considered this option for audio messages, and according to WABetaInfo on WhatsApp they would already be testing the function. At this time we do not know if it will be as limited as that of Telegram (which only leaves us normal speed or 2X) or if they will also allow the possibility of slowing down playback. However, as the function begins to reach beta versions we will end up leaving doubts.
On a personal level, this change is extremely useful for me when it comes to saving time listening to audio of several minutes that under normal conditions I end up ignoring due to lack of desire. It is true that listening to accelerated audio requires more attention, but at least in my case I find it extremely useful.
The entry WhatsApp prepares a very important change in the audio messages appears first in The Free Android.
