Town, Texas HoldEm Poker, Pet Society, Restaurant City, My Calendaretc … Really a few times Facebook becomes obsessive and too bulky. The fault is not always of the users who find the key to send invitations a little ‘everywhere, just one click too much and here is that the invitation is sent to all the thousands of contacts on the list. But is there a way to say to stop all this and block invitations to certain applications or even block the arrival of invitations from certain users? The answer is yes and here’s how to proceed.

On the Facebook home page, click on the icon with the two letters called “Apps and games“. At this point a page will open with the central column which will display invitations received from contacts. Go down until the end of the list you will see instead the requests of the friends waiting (actually it is not clear what differs from the two but in any case it is all here). To delete pending requests it’s very simple: you have to click the X next to “OK” and at this point you can decide forever block arrival of requests for this application or even by the user who sent it.

To delete requests of which we spoke before, those at the top of the central column, enough hover with mouse (without clicking) on each one: at this point a blue frame will appear with a X top right, clicking on it yes cancel invitation and you can choose to block the arrival of notifications for that application or for send invitations from that particular user. User blocking is not just about Facebook! Yes it only inhibits the arrival of notifications of applications sent by that friend but we will always continue to see your profile It’s in chat with him when online!
