In just a few months we have seen so many major Android updates on so many different models. We are not only talking about the main brands like Samsung or Vivo, but also others like Sony.

Android 11 comes to the Sony Xperia 5 II
This software update is version number 58.1.A.1.178 for the European (XQ-AS52) and Asian (XQ-AS72) variants. SoftBank Japan’s model (A002SO) has also been updated, with version number 58.1.D.0.331.
The novelties of this version are those that Google already presented to you a few months ago and that we analyzed in detail. Of course, it remains to be seen that some have not been eliminated, as Samsung has done with its update to Android 11.

The firmware takes up very little, just over 700 MB, and that makes us think that it will be a very clean interface that will be maintained, with the expected options such as notification bubbles, the new multimedia playback module in the notification area or advanced permission management.
What we do not know is the exact date it will reach Spanish users, but given that European models are already receiving the OTA, we should not have to wait too long.
