The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is updated to Android 11

Samsung is not a company that has been characterized by its speed when it comes to updating its phones to the latest versions of Android. Of course, we must recognize that it takes care of its high-end like no other.

Today a new update of Android 11 has been launched for what is possibly the most relevant mobile of those launched last year, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Android 11 comes to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2

After reaching the latest version of Android to the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S, even the Galaxy Z Flip, now it is the turn of the Fold 2.

This update is especially delicate because, like the Flip, the Fold’s software is heavily customized to take advantage of its folding screen, so the modifications to the Android core are greater.

Along with Android 11 the company launches the new version of One UI, called One UI 3, which will be improved in a few days by the new variant that the S21 will have, although for a few months we can only use it in these new models.

The version number of this update is F916BXXU1CTLL and it has started to be seen in Germany, so in a few weeks we should also see it in Spain.

Also included is the January security patch, the latest one available. This will be one of the few models that use it for now.

The entry The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is updated to Android 11 appears first in The Free Android.
