The Samsung Galaxy A71 4G is updated to Android 11 with One UI 3.1

If we look at the history of updates to older versions of Android that different manufacturers have, we will see that Samsung did not come out very well. We speak in the past because in 2021 the Korean company has accelerated the distribution of Android 11 OTAs to a speed that we had not seen in previous years.

We have already echoed the arrival of this version to Spanish mobiles such as the Galaxy A51 5G or A71 5G. It has even started to reach tablets like the Tab S6.

Now it is the turn of the 4G model of one of those terminals, the Samsung Galaxy A71.

As in other models, Samsung has brought Android 11 to the A71 through One UI 3.1, the interface that we already saw in the Samsung Galaxy S21.

The firmware has the version number A715FXXU3BUB5 and it occupies no less than 2.7 GB. This makes it advisable to download it via Wifi. As always, it is a good idea to make a backup copy of our data and have the mobile phone with enough battery; 50% will suffice.

The update is already being received in some European countries such as Poland and it is expected that in a few weeks it will reach the rest of the markets of this continent.

Of course, as we told you, some functions are exclusive to mobiles that are launched as standard with Android 11, such as the S21. Among them is the option to use Google’s Discover, something that is not activated in the A71. We will have Samsung Free, the new application of the Samsung news interface.
