Today has been a special day for Xiaomi in Spain, and it is that they have finally announced their flagship mobile for 2021, the Xiaomi Mi 11. This is not the only device to reach the Spanish market, and we have also been able to meet a new smart TV, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 75.

Xiaomi aims at 75 inches with its new television

The Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 75 is the largest television that Xiaomi has brought to Spain. Its name does not leave much to the imagination, and is that the 75 refers to the inches of this television. It is not only a large screen, but we also find a panel that boasts in terms of technology.

On this television, Xiaomi has opted for a QLED panel, like Samsung televisions. These panels strike a great balance in brightness, color accuracy and contrast, as well as a 178 degree viewing angle. In this last aspect they are one step behind OLED televisions, but on the other hand we find a type of screen with a longer useful life, a crucial aspect in televisions.

The panel is prepared for new generation consoles by being compatible with the HDMI 2.1 standard, as well as a refresh rate of 120 hertz, being able to offer twice the fluidity of a conventional television.

We have Android TV 10 with support for applications, Chromecast and Miracast. We also have support for voice commands through Google Assistant at a distance of 3 meters from the television and the inclusion of aphysical switch to disable the microphone. On the other hand, we have a Bluetooth control knob with buttons dedicated to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The television can also be controlled by Alexa.

On the smart TV system, at first it can be a bit disappointing. We have a MediaTek MT9611 processor, with four Cortex A55 cores at a maximum of 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. We will have to wait to test it to know how it behaves on a day-to-day basis, but within the devices with Android TV at the specification level it is one of the many. It is not an exclusive problem for Xiaomi and it is common in most televisions, but they have lost an excellent opportunity.

Regarding price and availability, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 75 will arrive in Spain next March at an official price of 1299 euros, although the fastest can access a discount of 300 euros, remaining at 999 euros.
