In December of last year it was confirmed that interpreter mode of the Google Assistant would reach Android mobiles in Spain. This feature allows simultaneous translation between two languages without having to use Google Translate. One year after its announcement, it is launched on the Play Store for Android devices.

This interpreter mode of the Google Assistant launches as a standalone app in the Android app store. Being a standalone app, it will be much easier to open and run this function on Android phones that want to use it, because it is a shortcut.

Interpreter mode Google Assistant

This app works really like a shortcut to this function, something that is reflected in its low weight (slightly less than 500 KB). When using this application on Android, the Google Assistant opens directly in that interpreter mode, so we will not have to execute a command in the first place to open it. Although it is a somewhat strange decision, because the interpreter mode itself has the possibility of creating a shortcut on the home screen.

The operation does not present any complications, since it is the same operation of the interpreter mode that we already know. Only now we have our own application for this function. It is not known if in the future Google will add some improvements to this app, because at the moment it is only that shortcut.

This application of the interpreter mode of the Google Assistant has already been launched in the Play Store, although its availability is quite limited. In most countries it is impossible to download it, at least for the moment, it is expected that as the hours go by it will be able to download without any problem in the store.

Luckily, you can also download the APK on your Android mobile to already use this interpreter mode of the Google Assistant without any problem on your phone, without having to wait for it to be launched in the Play Store in your country.

The entry The interpreter mode of the Google Assistant already available in the Play Store appears first in The Free Android.
