A month ago the Galaxy A51 5G and A71 5G got the update to Android 11 officially, although it has not yet arrived in Spain. The two mid-range Samsung models thus had access to the new version of the operating system, in addition to updating to One UI 3 as a customization layer, although this is not the most recent version of the layer.
Users with these Galaxy A51 5G and A71 5G have not had to wait long to get the latest version of the brand’s interface. The update to One UI 3.1 is starting to roll out already between these two mid-range devices.
One UI 3.1 for the Galaxy A51 5G and A71 5G
Users in countries like Spain with these two Samsung mid-range can thus enjoy the new version of the customization layer, with Android 11. The version for the Galaxy A51 5G has as serial number A516NKSU3CUC4 and the Galaxy A71 5G is version number A716SKSU3CUC4 at its launch in South Korea.
This is a stable update for both phones, which also includes the March 2021 Security Patch. The deployment has begun in South Korea, although it is expected that over the next few days it will be launched in more countries, also in Spain, so that users can enjoy these news.
Thanks to this update the Galaxy A51 5G and A71 5G get a host of new features such as customizing the call screen, improvements in the apps installed by default, a renewed interface, Samsung Private Share, the removal of location data in the photos in the gallery, new widgets for the lock screen and more.
If you have either of these two devices, you won’t have to wait long to access it. It is being launched through an OTA, so you will receive a notification when it is available. Being a heavy update, it is recommended to use WiFi for its installation.
