The latest version of the application Stay for Android devices allows us to capture images and small video clips from your commanding officerbut also gives us clues about the upcoming news that are coming to the platform games on streaming Google.
The source code of Stay 2.16 it discloses to us four characteristics very important that could get, especially one that will extend the compatibility with more devices.
Support with Android TV
The application hides many text strings new, which refer to the 4K, HDR and switches 5.1 surround sound, and given that there are many mobile phones with screens 4K bet is that you refer to Android TVespecially because some chains make reference to the word “screen”, as that “HDR is not available on your screen”, with what seems to make reference to an external display.
Last year Google confirmed that Stay would come along this 2020 to Android TV. It is also expected that the new successor of the Chromecast Ultra will be based on Android TVwith what will surely come standard with the application of Stay, and compatibility with remotes and Bluetooth.
Now Stay allows us to capture images and small video clips, but still does not offer a quick option and comfortable to be able to share them through social networks and messaging applications. Currently the only way is download all images from Google Takeout.
This seems that will change very soon, since the application for Stay for Android is being prepared to be able to share the links to our screenshots or share files directly the captures in a very similar manner to Google Photos.
Stay allows us to use voice chat in games and in their system of holidays, but soon we may also talk to our friends through a text chat. There are references in the code to the string “chat”, “chat messages”, “conversation” and “direct messages”.
List of achievements in mobile
Finally, the application of the Stay to Android will also allow us to see the list of achievements of our games, to see that we have unlocked and we are done.
