The Escapists 2, an Among Us set in prison
It is a simulation game in which we will put ourselves in the shoes of a convict and we will have to escape from prison. To escape the control of the guards, we must develop the correct strategy and build effective tools with everyday objects (such as soap, socks or forks that we steal from the cafeteria, for example).
We will also have to explore roofs, vents and underground tunnels, and in order not to attract attention, we will be forced to comply with the prison rules by going to the roll call, working and following the strict routines. And of course, there will be close combat.
Nor can we forget something important: like the version for consoles and computer, the mobile game lands with a multiplayer mode to team up with up to three prisoners. Therefore, we can play with friends by accessing the same Wi-Fi point and thus be able to play the story between several members. It also comes with five different prisons, which offer different levels of surveillance and, therefore, more or less difficulty in escaping.
Escape from prison anyway
No prisoner would like to be caught in the middle of an escape, so it is essential to study the routines of the guards, to know what their personality is and even to know the qualities of the rest of the prisoners who are in the penitentiary. It is also essential to go capturing different materials throughout the game in order to make new objects that may be useful to get out of jail. Police clothing, batons, badges …
That is, everything necessary to escape unscathed from a leak in which the patience and strategy are two fundamental factors. Of course, you can always do everything rough and go out the front door. Although it is not very advisable if you want to pass the game. In addition, the experience that gives the title to plot and dialogue level that is beyond doubt not to enjoy it. On the other hand, it has a very rich and varied series of tasks that should not be overlooked.
Another of the highlights of The Scapists 2 lies in the presence of a retro aesthetic that fills the entire image. The 8-bit graphics return to the scene in an open world video game much more worked than it seems at first. Likewise, and as we have already mentioned before, there is a multiplayer mode in which you can collaborate with different profiles to escape faster and more accurately from prison.
