The CEO of vivo commented on the presentation that was formed a new study for the creation of Origin OS. This new interface is committed to a new design on the phone’s desktop, with a new system of grids or widgets, similar to the one we have already seen in iOS 14 this year. In addition, users will have the possibility to organize these icons individually, as well as combine or group them in one of those widgets on the screen. Each of these widgets can vary its format or position, since as seen in the photos, some are oriented vertically, others horizontally and their sizes are variable. The user can adjust these aspects to their liking whenever they want.
vivo also introduces a new way to display weather information in Origin OS. It is committed to a design with temperature lines, where colored lines are shown to facilitate the perception of the user when reading the temperature. The weather conditions at that specific moment are also shown through an animation.
There are also animated wallpapers, which will be integrated over time, so that they will change with the weather, as well as changes in the sun and the moon. vivo has opted for funds with flowers (7 types in total), so that you can see the process of said flower until they bloom as a background. The brand allows users freely change wallpaper, icons and the style of the desktop in a small window. This way you have a greater personalization at all times.
Origin OS is presented as a more current interface, with a modern design that allows great customization by the user. Comparisons with iOS are going to be many, since it is true that there are quite a few similarities between the two.
