Xiaomi is accelerating the updates of several low and mid-range mobiles to the latest stable version of its interface, MIUI 12. It is true that these updates do not go hand in hand with new versions of Android, but it is still a positive thing.
The Xiaomi Redmi 7A, 8 and 8A receive MIUI 12
There have been three models that have been updated to MIUI 12 in different regions.
The Redmi 8 They are being updated in the global version (V18.104.22.168.QCNMIXM), in the European versions (V22.214.171.124.QCNEUXM) and also in their Russian variant (V126.96.36.199.QCNRUXM).

Without Android 11 but maybe with MIUI 12.5
