Microsoft has again updated Edge within the Beta Channel. With a cycle that completes every four weeks, Edge now has version 95.0.1020.9 which can be downloaded well from this link on Edge Channels or updating Edge Beta if you already have it installed on your computer.
Edge version 95.0.1020.9 in the Beta Channel reaches computers that use both Windows and macOS and, among other improvements, provides optimization in downloads, a better performance of PDF reading at the point we leave it or the “Efficiency Mode” to minimize battery consumption among other improvements.
With the latest version of Edge Beta, comes the compatibility with SharePoint Online libraries. The “View in File Explorer” feature can now be enabled in modern SharePoint Online document libraries. To do this, you must enable the Microsoft Edge policy “Configure the View function in File Explorer for SharePoint pages in Microsoft Edge” and update the SharePoint Online tenant settings. .
Now the URL links from the intranet zone file will open in Windows File Explorer. To activate this option, the “IntranetFileLinksEnabled” policy must be enabled.
