On Lawnchair We have been talking to you since 2017, since it is an alternative to Nova Launcher based on the Pixel launcher, open source and with a fairly high degree of customization. In December 2019 its version 2.0 was released with important new features, but its development has been paralyzed since December 4, 2019.
As they have indicated from his Telegram channel, Lawnchair returns to the fray after just over a year. New versions are coming, great improvements and operation adapted for Android 11. A new development team takes control of the app, so more constant growth is expected.

Lawnchair is an application created by Tillie Kottman, developer in charge of projects such as Deletespace.ch. From the Lawnchair channel itself in January they asked developers, since the team that was in charge of its development could not maintain the project.

Weeks later, they report that they already have a team of seven developers for this project, so the development of this launcher returns. Lawnchair is based on Launcher3, AOSP’s base launcher to which different functions are added.
We are introducing a new version scheme. The major version number reflects the version of Android that the main application is based on. For example, the main version of Lawnchair based on Android 10 Launcher3 is called Lawnchair 10. And we call our next main version Lawnchair 11
They indicate that Lawnchair will have a new version scheme, your name will now be called like android versions. The version based on Launcher3 of Android 10 will be Lawnchair 10, the one based on Launcher3 of Android 11, Lawnchair 11, etc. Similarly they have announced new alpha versions.
