The mobile market in Spain has undergone a revolution in recent weeks as Xiaomi has become the undisputed leading brand, however worldwide the company is still far away, despite having reached third place. The best-selling mobiles in the last quarter: iPhone, Galaxy A and Redmi triumph
The analysis firm Canalys has produced a report in which, in addition to indicating the brands that have sold the most in recent months, they have managed to make a breakdown of the most widely distributed smartphone models in the third quarter of 2020, the period that includes the months July, August and September.
This report highlights the predicted success of the iPhone SE, a mobile that for many was predicted to be a best seller and it has been, with 10 million units. It has not been enough to unseat the iPhone 11, a terminal that continues to accumulate the achievement of being the best-selling smartphone on the planet.
The third place, which closely follows the iPhone SE, is for a cheap Samsung mobile, the Galaxy A21s, one of the cheapest Galaxy A and which we analyzed a few days ago. This terminal and the rest of the top 10 catalog validate the success of the Galaxy A, which together with the A11, A51, A31 and A01 Core make an impressive total.Five of the ten best-selling mobiles were Galaxy A.
On the other hand, the three remaining positions in the top 10 were left by Xiaomi’s cheapest brand. The Redmi Note 9, Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A proved by its great value for money deserve to be in the top of best sellers.
The ranking trend makes it clear that the iPhone is the only smartphonepremium capable of being among the best sellers, since the rest of the models belong to extremely economical ranges, the Galaxy A51 being the Android terminal of the highest range to reach a spectacular sales figure, a terminal whose success does not surprise us too much.
