What to do if Gmail has stopped syncing on AndroidIf Gmail on Android has stopped syncing and you don’t receive your emails on your phone, there are a number of solutions to try in the app.
Create a signature for your Gmail emails on Android
Gmail on Android allows us to create a signature for emails sent from the phone. That is, this is a signature that will be shown only when we write or respond to an email from our smartphone. If you have a signature configured on your computer, that signature will not be displayed. Therefore, you may find it interesting to either use the same signature on both, or create an exclusive one for your phone. The steps to create one are:
- Open Gmail on Android.
- Display the side menu of the application by clicking on the three upper horizontal stripes.
- Go into Settings.
- Click on your email account.
- Go to the Signature section.
- Click on it.
- Create the signature that you are going to use on Android.
- Click on accept.
In this function to create a signature in Gmail we do not have as many configuration options as on the computer. Since this way we can only create the text of this signature, there are no options to edit said text, such as changing the font, the size, the position of the text or the color of the letter. So you can only put a text in this signature for the application on Android. Whenever you want you can modify this signature, if you want to use a different one from Android.
The entry How to configure a signature for Gmail on Android appears first in The Free Android.
