Last week Twitter launched in Spain its new function called Fleets. As we already told you in the announcement of it, they are the new stories of the social network, which thus joins others such as Instagram, Snapchat or Facebook in the use of them. A new feature that might be popular, but many don’t like it at all.
Luckily, Twitter has introduced the possibility to deactivate these new fleets, so that users who do not want to see them can avoid this. The steps to be followed are not complicated, so if you were thinking of deactivating them, we will show you how it can be done.
How to fix the most common Twitter problems on AndroidIf you ever face the most common Twitter problems on Android, you can solve them with these solutions.
Disable Twitter Fleets on Android
There is a limitation in this possibility of deactivating Twitter Fleets on Android and that is that they cannot all be deactivated at the same time, that is, there is a setting that makes these stories disappear from the application. The only possibility there is is to deactivate the stories individually, in each account you follow on the social network. This makes it a time-consuming task, but you can disable such stories for those that bother you the most.
- Open Twitter on Android.
- Enter the Fleet you want to deactivate.
- Click on the arrow at the top right of the screen.
- Tap Mute @accountname.
- A new menu comes out, where we click on the option to Silence Fleets.
This is the process we have to repeat with each of the accounts whose fleets we want to silence. If you follow a large number of people and are not interested in these stories, you will have to arm yourself with patience to deactivate them all, although the use of these stories is something that has declined, after the novelty of the first days.
By having these fleets already deactivated, you will be able to see only the tweets that the account publishes on the social network.
