With the popularization of YouTube, and after becoming the largest platform for video streaming, a long time ago that arose among the users need: be able to download the videos to save them locally or directly just the audio track so you have songs, radio programs, etc
There are many tools for converting YouTube videos in MP3 and even the most well-known are for the PC, there are also options just as simple for Android. So we just need the right tool, to understand how it works and, in a few minutes, we will be saving in the format of music any YouTube video.
Several options are simple to download music
Several years ago there were a lot of tools and apps to download YouTube videos or convert them into MP3 files. Some even came to be published on Google Play and in the store formerly known as Android Market. With time, however, many of them have been disappearing or staying obsolete.
After trying a number of proposals, one of the more we became convinced it was Peggo (many will recall), but unfortunately, it stopped working last year. However, currently there are still different alternatives to convert YouTube videos into MP3 files of music. If we are interested in is having a website and not an app to do this task, we have two options that are very easy to use and helpful:
Both work identically, with a very simple process that consists of three steps:
- Open a video on YouTube and give it to the ‘Share’button.
- We give you to the option that says ‘Copy to clipboard’.
- Go to the web YouTube3MP3 or FLVTO, paste the link into the bar and click Download).
FLVTO Keep in mind, however, that it is possible that your Internet service provider (the operator, we will) you blocked any of these web pages. In our case, we found that Movistar (and therefore O2) does not allow us access to FLVTO.
Another option as popular as interesting it is Snaptubethat allows us to download any video of the major social networks. Works not only with YouTube, also Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, VEVO… Even if it is an application oriented to download videos, we can download the entire contents as an MP3 file also.
Once you’ve downloaded and installed the APK of the app, you will see that one of the characteristics, practices, Snaptube is that it includes a search engine, so that we can appeal to him directly to find the content and save the copy the link.
Snaptube is, possibly, the most complete option because it not only allows you to choose if you want to download it in MP3 or MP4but that also gives us the option of selecting the quality. What other alternative very similar? TubeMate, which is not available in Google Play, but we can download the APK.
Why are there no apps for this on Google Play?
If you’ve been reading attentively until the end, you may have noticed that of all the options that we have mentioned, none is in Google Play. Some of them are only available as web pages and have other pages you own from where you download the APK manually to later install it on our own.
This is not any coincidence: Google does not like the idea of you download music from YouTube because of the large amount of content protected by copyright that exists on this platform. That is why already a few years ago that decided to check out the main apps that I had for this purpose.
If you are looking for a little bit in the Google store you will see that there are apps that convert videos to MP3 but none of them serves to transform YouTube links, they are only for own content that you have previously stored in the memory of our Android.
