Having your mobile ready for a possible emergency is something that many Android users in Spain do. Depending on the brand of your phone, a number of different options are provided. EMUI has an emergency menu that you can configure and Samsung’s One UI also has an option to add information to the lock screen.
Samsung mobiles with recent versions of One UI, such as One UI 2.5, have the possibility of add contact information on the lock screen. They don’t give us as many options as in the EMUI menu, but we can add some information that may be helpful in an emergency, such as contact information.

Add emergency information in Samsung’s One UI
Samsung allows us add contact information on this lock screen of the telephone. Thanks to this, we can write the phone number of the person to call in case of an emergency, but we can also add some information, such as saying an allergy or blood group. This information that we can add is something that everyone can configure. The steps to follow are:
- Open the settings.
- Enter the Lock screen section.
- Go to Contact information.
- Click on this option.
- Enter the desired information.
When you have entered that information, if you go to the lock screen of your phone, you will see that the text you have written is shown in it. It appears just below the date and time on the screen, in a somewhat reduced font, so what happens is not something that catches your attention at first glance.
Each user will be able to add the information they deem appropriate to their Samsung mobile with One UI, either the phone number of another person, or data on the health of the owner of the phone. If at any time you want to change this information, you will only have to follow the same steps to do so.
