Instagram is one of the most used applications in Spain. In recent months the application has gained new functions, although it has also lost some. If you have an account in the application, you may follow a large number of accounts and not always see the new posts that one of those accounts has uploaded in the time that you have not been in the app.
Luckily, Instagram has a method with which we do not miss any of the new publications of our favorite accounts. It is possible to activate notifications so that we know at all times when an account that we follow with special interest uploads a photo or video.

Activate notifications for some accounts on Instagram
When we enter Instagram we don’t always see posts from all accounts that we continue, causing that there are times in which we lose a photo that interested us. The feed of the social network is still an aspect that generates complaints from users, but luckily there is a way not to miss anything that the accounts that interest you most upload.
In the application we have the possibility of activate notifications for individual accounts, so that when they publish something, we will receive a notification on the mobile. It is a way of filtering those contents that interest us and always being up to date. To activate these notifications we have to follow these steps:
- Open Instagram on your phone.
- Go to the account that interests you.
- Click on the bell icon.
- Select what you want to receive notifications about (Posts, Stories, Direct or IGTV).
- Activate these options.
- If there are other accounts you want to receive notifications from, repeat the process.
By having these notifications activated, when said Instagram account uploads a publication to your profile, you will receive a notification on your phone. Just by clicking on this notification you will have access to the publication in question, which you can see. Thanks to this you will never miss the news of said account on the social network.
If these notifications end up being annoying, you can always deactivate them, following the same steps that we have followed to activate them. This will allow them to stop broadcasting on Android.
