The interface of the Korean company has evolved and in this version 3.1 by without it has allowed to use a function that Spanish users like a lot: Google Discover on desktops.
Until now, Samsung was betting on its own Samsung Free version, but now we can choose.
How to activate Discover on Samsung mobiles with One UI 3.1
The first thing we have to say is that, by default, the interface does not show either of the two options, so we have to find a way to activate it. To do this we have to go to a desk and make a pinch to zoom, that is, a pinch on the screen.
Once we do, we slide to the left, where the option to activate the news desktop is shown.
If we click on the top button we will see how it is highlighted in blue, indicating that we have already activated it. Now what we have to do is select one of the two options at the bottom. The one we press will be highlighted again in blue.
When we return to the desks we can slide to the right so that the new desktop appears in the left area, with the chosen section.
As an anecdote, to say that although we can move in Discover by sliding right and left to enter and exit, in the case of Samsung Free we will have to perform the gesture of returning or clicking on the corresponding button since it behaves like an application.
We hope that this version of One UI reaches more mobile phones to be able to use this option, although for now those who are receiving Android 11 do so with One UI 3.0, except for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
