The musician and member of the group Black Eyed Peas has announced a partnership with the company “Honeywell” for the launch of “Xupermask”, a high-tech mask with noise canceling headphones, Bluetooth support and HEPA filtering system.

Will.i.am, in collaboration with “Honeywell,” a company that produces personal protective equipment and air purifiers, has created a high-tech mask that boasts up to seven hours of battery life on a single charge. During an interview with the American newspaper “Usa Today”, Will.i.am explained that his idea was born from the intention of solving the problems that arise from the habitual use of masks, from the fogging glasses to the muffled voice during a call . Apparently, before starting production with Honeywell, he originally planned to create a couple hundred “Xupermask” for his closest friends. “What I’ve seen in the last few months is people wearing big masks and headphones,” said Will.i.am. “When they received phone calls, they took off the mask and the headphones fell to the ground, then the mask fell to the ground and then everything got dirty.”
