ARCore Augmented Reality

ARCore is Google’s augmented reality platform, which has been introducing a multitude of improvements, which have also been launched in Spain. Every so often, the list of phones that have support for it increases, as it happens again now, with a new list of Android phones compatible with it.

Google creates the specific calibration profiles for the new phones and is adding new compatible devices in said list. A total of 17 new Android phones are added to this list of models compatible with the firm’s augmented reality. As usual, it is high-end models that get this compatibility with ARCore.

In order to use ARCore on a phone, it is necessary that the device have certain sensors, as well as enough power to perform calculations necessary for the operation of augmented reality. Google works with manufacturers so that the correct calibration is obtained in this way, which will allow the best possible operation of this augmented reality.

Those devices that achieve this calibration profile go to the list of models compatible with this augmented reality from Google. In this new update of the list 17 new devices are added, 16 phones and a tablet. These are the following:

  • Redmi Note 9S.
  • Sharp AQUOS zero5G basiC
  • Sharp AQUOS zero5G basic DX
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
