Google creates the specific calibration profiles for the new phones and is adding new compatible devices in said list. A total of 17 new Android phones are added to this list of models compatible with the firm’s augmented reality. As usual, it is high-end models that get this compatibility with ARCore.

Google brings its augmented reality to 17 more devices
In order to use ARCore on a phone, it is necessary that the device have certain sensors, as well as enough power to perform calculations necessary for the operation of augmented reality.
