Google works in a desktop mode for Android 12

In recent weeks Android 12 has been in the news for the launch of the first versions for developers that Google has allowed any user to test with a Pixel.

We already did it with the DP1, even on video, and yesterday we told you the news that came in the Developer Preview 2.

Now we echo another of the functions that will arrive in Android 12, although it seems that it will be limited to devices with large screens.

Although the convergence between devices has not arrived in the way we expected, using the mobile as a brain and screens and peripherals as accessories, brands such as Huawei or Samsung have already implemented a desktop mode on their mobiles.

The last to join the idea is Motorola and it seems that Google does not want to be less.

It has been one of those responsible for XDA-Developers, Mishaal Rahman, who has shown it on his Twitter account.

As you can see, the images show an icon bar at the bottom that allows us to switch from one application to another as we would on a MacOS or Windows computer, for example.

In the video you have recorded, you can see it in motion, although for now it is a function that is not fully operational. This interface would allow using an Android device with a mouse in a much more comfortable way, not being necessary to use the control buttons or navigation gestures.

The entry Google works in a desktop mode for Android 12 appears first in The Free Android.
