Google Stadia already works with mobile data and a very reasonable limitation 1

One of the first video game streaming services available in Spain was Google Stadia, a service that arrived almost a year ago and since then has caused joys and dislikes in equal measure. When Google presented it, the proposal was very ambitious, and in its official launch we saw that the product launched was very far from what the expectations had left us.

As the months go by, Google has woken up and has been improving the service with small incremental improvements, making it accessible to practically any mobile, preparing its support for Android TV or even in key marketing sections such as explaining in a concise way what Google Stadia is. Today we know a fundamental improvement of the service, and that is that it finally begins to work with mobile data.

We are talking about the connection with mobile data, which has begun to appear in the last hours. The option is disabled by default, and if you want to enjoy it, what you should do is go to the settings, click on performance and the option to enable the use of mobile data will appear.

The use of mobile data for streaming services is essential, since the grace of this type of service lies in its ubiquity, and if we do not have the possibility of playing with mobile data, we do not end up having that feeling of freedom. However, play streamingconsume a lot of data, which is why Google has decided to limit the quality to 720p, a level good enough to see games well but consuming almost half of mobile data. Because although streaming is the future of video games, the reality of the present is that the rates to play what we want are not yet valid for everyone.
