Google Play Store

The Google Play Store has introduced recently some changes in Spain, such as download trends. Google continues to work on improvements in its application store, this time in the design of its settings. It has been seen that the company is testing a new interface in its store settings on Android.

This new Google Play Store settings interface reduces the number of items on the screen, which would allow a simpler use of them. The first tests have already begun, but it is unknown if it is the final design that we will see in these settings in the near future.

This is how the new Google Play Store settings are

Google Play Store new settings

When opening these new settings from the Google Play Store we find four categories: General, User, Family and About. The Family section is a new section in these settings, where we will find functions such as the well-known parental control, as well as a new guide with tips for parents on how to use the store, called Parents Guide. In each section we will have already known functions, only now they are grouped together.

Below each category, some of the sections or functions that we find in it are also mentioned, to facilitate navigation within these settings. The one with the least items on the screen helps to get a cleaner interface, which can help make it easier to use these settings in the app store on Android.

The first images of these renewed Google Play Store settings clearly show how they will look. Google is testing this new design, but it is not known if the company has plans to introduce it in the app store in the future or not. Also, this layout cannot be activated manually, rather Google is releasing it for some users.

The entry Google is testing a new settings interface in the Play Store appears first in The Free Android.
