Channels reach Amazon Prime Video in Spain: new subscription system 1

Amazon Prime Video is one of the streaming services best known in Spain, which this year has left us with various novelties, such as the option to buy or rent movies. Today is the turn of a new feature is launched in Spain, which are called Amazon Channels, a series of new subscription channels, integrated into the platform.

Through these channels, users will be able to have access to content from Mubi, MGM or Starzplay, each with a monthly subscription. Without having to leave the Amazon Prime Video application, we can access these channels, although you will have to pay to access them.

At its launch in Spain, Amazon Channels leaves us with a series of new channels in Spain: Starzplay, MGM and Mubi, which are available now. Each one focuses on a series of different content, in addition to having different subscription prices, which would be added to the cost of your subscription on Amazon Prime Video. These available channels are already:

  • MGM: Hollywood Classics, plus some recent content. It costs 3.99 euros per month.
  • Mubi: A catalog of films that focuses especially on independent cinema. It costs 9.99 euros per month.
  • Starzplay: It has series and movies, as well as productions of the American channel Stars. It costs 4.99 euros per month.
  • OUTtv: LGBT content. It costs 4.99 euros per month.
  • Noggin by Nick Jr: Subscription to the service with the characters of Nick Jr. It costs 3.99 euros per month.
  • TVCortos: A channel dedicated to short films. It costs 3.99 euros per month.
  • Mezzo: Classical music, dance and jazz. It costs 2.99 euros per month.
  • Stingray’s Qello Concerts: Thousands of classical music concerts. It costs 4.99 euros per month.

Users will only have to log into their account on Amazon Prime Video, either on the TV, the Android app or its web version. Within the platform there is already the Channels section, where you can see the available channels and you can proceed with their hiring. All of them come with a 30-day free trial and you have to pay once that period has passed.
