Huami has launched the month of December with two new smart devices under his arm or, rather, on his wrist. One of them we already knew: the Amazfit Pop Pro is the Chinese version of the Amazfit Bip U Pro, but we have a novelty: the new Amazfit GTS 2 Mini.
The Amazfit GTS 2 Mini is a slightly smaller and lighter version of the Amazfit GTS 2, which maintains the design with a rectangular screen with curves but with a smaller diagonal, in a smaller box and, somehow, with a smaller battery but with greater autonomy.

Smaller, but with more autonomy
Huami has decided to create a second version of the Amazfit GTS 2, the model with a rectangular screen that we knew just a few months ago. The design is quite similar altogether, if we exclude the button / crown, which is not “protected” by the box.
Its smartwatch characteristics are also basically the same, counting on optical heart rate monitor, SpO2 measurement, sleep monitoring, sports activity log, notifications, GPS and storage for songs. The change is basically aesthetic or, rather, in scale.
The Amazfit GTS 2 Mini is a little smaller than the normal model, mounting a 1.55-inch AMOLED display with 354 x 306 pixel resolution. For reference, the screen was 1.65 inches on the “normal” model. As a result, we have a slightly smaller watch, 40.5 x 35.8 mm, and also lighter: from 25 grams of the normal model we go to 20 grams.
Connectivity remains: NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, NFC, GPS, the only additional change being the battery capacity, which is 220 mAh. Curiously, although the battery has less capacity than the Amazfit GTS 2 -which was 246 mAh- Huami indicates that the typical duration of it is 14 days, while in the Amazfit GTS 2 a typical duration of 7 days was indicated, just half.
Versions and prices of the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini
The Amazfit GTS 2 Mini has been put on sale for the moment in China and with an official price of 699 yuan, about 90 euros to change, without us having more information about its sale in other regions. It is available in three colors: green, pink and gray.
