Google Messages already allows you to draw and add texts to the images before you share them

Now that Google Messages, has begun to expand their chat functions (RCS) in Spain we see how the messaging app continues to improve to match to WhatsApp in features. The latest version beta already allows edit images to add scribbles and text.

In this way, if you’re already using Google Messages for chatting you no longer have to use Google Photos or third-party applications to draw on a picture before you send it.

Scribbles and text on your images

Now after you attach an image, if* you* click on your preview** before you submit it, we’ll see in full screen the image next to the new option Edit. There you will find the tool squiggly tool and texts.

The tool of doodles provides us with nine colors and three types of pencils (a subrayador, a pen and a ballpoint pen), each with a thickness different that you can not adjust. The text tool also offers nine colors and only allows you to rotate and change the size of the text. Only includes a single source of text.

With this innovation, we can already draw and put text on an image. That still does not allow Google Messages, is to crop and rotate images before you share them. For this it will still use another application.
