OnePlus is on the verge of a new product presentation. In it he will announce the OnePlus 8T, a mobile that has already been leaked but of which we still have things to know, and that will arrive in Spain.
The design of the OnePlus 8T appears, is it a case of Samsungnification? In the last hours the design of the OnePlus 8T has appeared, a device that due to the recent changes of the company raises many doubts.
However, many were surprised not to see leaks of the OnePlus 8T Pro since for some time the company has launched two models of each high range. The CEO of the company, Pete Lau, has confirmed that there will be no OnePlus 8T Pro this year.
That there isn’t a OnePlus 8T Pro makes sense
As much as we enthusiasts would like to see more models being presented, the reality is that companies launch terminals when they believe there will be a difference with their predecessor.
In this case, the executive has made it clear that they are not capable of improving the OnePlus 8 Pro to launch a new model. This move makes a lot of sense if we look at what happened last year with the 7T.
The OnePlus 7T was a big leap from the OnePlus 7 and there were many of us who recommended them, even ahead of the OnePlus 7T Pro, which was almost identical to its predecessor. This is exactly what the company wants to avoid this year, offering only a OnePlus 8T that improves on the OnePlus 8 but does not tarnish the OnePlus 8 Pro, which will remain its flagship.
This is seen, for example, in the shape and characteristics of the screen, and it is surely also appreciated in the price and other specifications of the new model, which will be announced in mid-October.
The OnePlus entry confirms that there won’t be a OnePlus 8T Pro, and it makes perfect sense to appear first in The Free Android.
