Many of our readers may be found in a working situation unclearas more companies resort to layoffs or to the ERTES. The difficulty to contact, in some cases, with the directors of the company, or the inability to approach an office of the Social Security in full state of alarm do not help to end uncertainty.
Fortunately, the website of the social security allows us to do multiple procedures online… between them, to access our job information updated. Let’s take a look at how to do it:
Steps to follow
On the same front page of the Electronic headquarters of the Sec. Social you will find a tab called “Citizens” and, within the same, a link to the section “Certificates and Reports”, as we can see in the image above.
When you click on this last us a list, in alphabetical order, of possible reports that you can access: we are interested in is the “Report of the situation of the worker”.
When we click the same, it will display a ‘window’ that will show us 4 possible methods of identity verification:
-
“Electronic certificate”.
-
“User + password”.
-
“Cl@ve”.
-
“Via SMS”.
We will have to choose one and then confirm the choice in the next window, with which we will proceed to verify our identity.
-
Note 1: Depending on the browser you are using, you may be asked for at some point temporarily enable the TLS 1.0 protocol and 1.1.
-
Note 2: Any of the 4 methods offered require our account is createdour mobile phone recorded in the database of the Sec. Social or the electronic certificate is previously created. All of this should have been done at the time of face-to-face.
After that, we will see only a brief message that accompanied the link “Click here to open the report”. Once cliquemos, it will open the document that we were looking for, a PDF that will show our current work situation, as shown in the following image:
