3 tricks for using gestures on the OPPO Find X2 Pro

One of the biggest changes in Android in the last few years has been bet by the change in the control of the interface. We’ve gone from physical buttons to virtual buttons on the screen and of the latter to the gestures. First were the different brands that they implemented in their interfaces and in Android 9, and on all in Android 10, Google made official.

In spite of this, there are still certain differences between the use that makes Android default to gestures and which make brands such as OPPO.

I’m currently using a OPPO Find X2 Pro as a personal mobile in the last few days and I’ve noticed that the gestures are slightly more advanced than I thought. I tell you three things that we usually see in other mobile phones.

Two types of gestures

The first thing I have to say is that the phones from OPPO with Color OS 7 have two systems of gestures. To toggle between them we have to go to the settings and there, select the option Convenience tools. We have to click on the option of Navigation buttons and there we can choose two options:

• Gestures slide from both sides.
• Gestures of vertical slip.

As a toggle between two apps

If we choose the first one, the one that looks more like the system of Android 10, you can also toggle easily between two applications.

To do this we have to do is swipe from one of the two sides over the long term. If we do that quickly what we will do is to activate the option of returning to the navigation control of Android, but if we do the long term we will go by opening the application that we had previously on the screen.

This is the function equivalent to double-click the icon of multitasking that had some versions of Android.

Navigating in multi-tasking

Another function that you can pass quite unnoticed is the one that allows us to navigate in multi-tasking without having to open it. To do this we have to do is swipe left and right on the bottom bar that we get when we activate the gestures.

Will shift from one application to another in order that we can see when we open the multi-tasking, but without the need to do so.

The truth is that it is one of the best systems of gestures that I have been able to prove in the last few years, and I can’t think of anything that you take in lack.
