The Samsung mobiles that are launched in Spain use One UI as a customization layer, currently in full deployment of its version 3.1. This interface stands out for the many customization options it offers users, also in terms of the appearance of the system. For example, when organizing applications we have many options available in this layer.

Have your phone’s applications well organized it is something of importance, for a more comfortable use of it. One UI by Samsung contains several options that allow a good organization of your applications, from hiding default apps that we are not going to use to the Edge screen.

The Edge screen is a feature present in One UI that allows a good use of your phone. This panel is located on one side and we can unfold it at any time. In it we find application icons, which we ourselves can choose, and thus have immediate access to these applications.

One of the advantages of this screen is that allows you to configure it to your liking. If you want to have specific applications, of whatever type, that you can access quickly, you can do it. Samsung also allows you to create groups of apps based on their type or purpose and place them on this side panel, to access them. To use it you just have to do this:

  1. Go to the home screen of your Samsung phone.
  2. Swipe to the left from the right side, where you will see that there is a small bar.
  3. The Edge Screen opens.
  4. To configure it, click on the pencil icon.
  5. If you want to show certain types of apps, click on the gear icon.

Samsung mobiles come with many applications installed by default, which in many cases you do not want to use. Luckily, those applications that you do not use you can hide, so that they will not bother you. One UI gives us two options to hide applications, in addition to hiding games as well. To do this, the steps to follow are:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to the Home Screen.
  3. Click on Hide Applications.
  4. Select the apps to hide.

One UI allows also hide games using Game Launcher on the device. In this case, these applications will be grouped in the same folder with Game Launcher, instead of having those icons spread out over the phone. The steps for this are:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Enter Advanced Features.
  3. Activate Game Launcher.
