Wunderlist used to be one of the applications of lists of tasks more simple and popular that there were, hence that one day Microsoft decided to buy it. However, Wunderlist, as such, has one foot in the grave and die definitively in may of 2020.
In its place, Microsoft has been working a long time ago in Everything as a replacement, though alternatives of third parties not missing. Now, if what you want is something as close as possible to Wunderlist and it will also let you import all your playlists as they were in the moribund application, the new Zenkit To Do is probably your best option.
If the name Zenkit sounds of something, it is because we have heard of them beforethere is already an app for managing projects of this name, but without the “All.” The Zenkit normal is a tool more complex, and that it uses the method Kanban to help us organize everything, perhaps one of the best alternatives to Trello out there.
Now, Zenkit and it’s All the same people, but it is an app complementary individual to simply create lists of tasks, and that has (intentionally) a similar giant with Wunderlist, both in interface and in function.
In fact, it is designed for that in a single click you can import all your lists from Wunderlist to Zenkit All and everything look almost exactly as what you had. Either from the web, Windows, macOS, or their apps for iOS and Android.
Zenkit To Do have a free plan that is more than enough for most basic needs, both for individual users or small teams, or the family group, for example, if you are someone who uses apps to-do list to a shopping list or things to do at home, etc
You can use Zenkit To Do for free on all your devices with-sync, you have up to 500 MB of space for you to add attachments, you can create 80 lists, and 2400 distributed tasks in a maximum of 20 folders. You can add comments to the lists, you can create reminders, you can collaborate with 7 other users, and you can use two-factor authentication.
Outside of the free plan there are three other payment plansranging from one of 3 euros per month per user, up to business plans custom.
If you’ve used Wunderlist, you’ll know where everything is and how to use it all in an instant. If not, it is not a great complication. Zenkit To Do is extremely simple and easy to use. You have a home page with your Inbox, there out the tasks you’ve added today, with or without date.
Depending upon the reminders that you add or dates you assign, you’ll be able to view tasks in automatic lists called “Today” and “Week”. Next to these is the section “Marked” where are the tasks marked as important, and you also have a search engine.
You can create folders and include in them the corresponding tasks, and you can reorder your tasks by dragging and dropping, either to move space in the list, or to change folders.
You can configure these automatic lists or smart from the settings to show or not, including lists with everything that you have marked as finished, which is worth noting the sonidito satisfying that you listen to when you complete a task.
From the settings you can also change the appearance of the app by choosing between light and dark themes, plus the option to change the background of the app. You have many possibilities to leave it to your taste.
In addition to all the like with Wunderlist, Zenkit To Do already has a number of options that this one does not. For example, support for HTML, Markdown and rich text, progress bar in the mobile version, @mentions to team members, permissions for folders, and they also plan to add tags, gestures to swipe and complete, support for offline use and various other things.
In general the app is well-designed, it is extremely easy to use, it is ideal if you are coming from Wunderlist, and if not, it is an excellent alternative to carry your task lists on the desktop and mobile with auto-sync and the option to share with more people.
You can download Zenkit To Do for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS or Android since its official website.
