Xiaomi launches cheap smart alarm clock: Mi Smart Clock

In the presentation that took place in Spain this morning, Xiaomi presented several products, including two mobile phones, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T and the Xiaomi Redmi 9T.

Along with these phones, it has also presented a new smart screen similar to those that Google has but in a smaller format as it is an alarm clock.

The Xiaomi Mi Smart Clock is a cheap and useful screen

This device is designed to be placed next to our bed. The screen is 3.97 inches and is in color, in addition to touch. With it we can see photos if we indicate it in the application or see the images of security cameras. Of course, the resolution is 800 x 480 px so we can not demand much sharpness.

In addition, it will serve as an alarm clock for both sound and light, using the screen to wake us up. We can also use it to send audio as if it were a bluetooth speaker.

This product is in line with what we have already seen from Lenovo, although with a somewhat more childish design and better specifications.

Among the few drawbacks, it should be noted that it only has 2.4 Ghz WiFi connectivity, not 5 Ghz. The Bluetooth version is 5.0 Low Energy and can be used with Android phones or with iPhone.

It has two microphones and an integrated speaker, to use the Google assistant comfortably, listen to music …

The physical control buttons for the microphone and volume are at the top and there is only one port, one microUSB to plug in the charging cable, there is no USB-A port to charge our mobile.

The Xiaomi Mi Smart Clock will go on sale in Spain for 49.99 euros and can be charged with the built-in microUSB charger.
