With this app you can chat with yourself to make decisions or debate different points of view

Sometimes it can be difficult to collect your thoughts, especially in complex situations. If you don’t have anyone available to help you unravel the fabric of your thoughts, Antar is an application that serves exactly that: to chat with yourself.

This time it is not about a chat with yourself as those of WhatsApp or Telegram, but the idea is that you can adopt different identities to discuss, debate or explain any topic from different points of view.

Talks from you to you

Antar is presented as a platform to “explore your inner world”, and is basically a tool that makes it easier for you to chat using different profiles, with which you can start conversations with yourself. These conversations are offline and stay on mobile. The application does not make any assessment of their content, like other similar apps such as Woebot.

What Antar does provide you with is the place and the tools so that you can have your internal discussions … externally, that is, in the application. The use itself is quite simple: first you create a session indicating the topic (if you want) and then it’s your turn create identities that you plan to use during the conversation. Each of these identities can have a name and an associated color.

Then comes the time to start chatting, being able to easily switch between which profile you are going to use by tapping on its icon. The application helps you keep your thoughts well organized, being able to create new threads within responses or create new sessions from any response.

In addition to being able to see your thoughts in the form of nested chat, Antar allows you generate concept maps where the conversation is shown maintaining the color schemes of each personality and the relationships between responses.

We had already seen other good apps for talking alone, although Antar does it intentionally and with the idea that you can put your thoughts in order as if they were one more chat, being able to explore different perspectives and points of view. It’s free and, for the moment at least, it’s ad-free.
