WhatsApp continues to be the star communication application in countries such as Spain or India, and the pandemic has only strengthened its position.
Now the company has announced an update to its application with three major changes, one of them related to wallpapers, which will improve a lot.
The first novelty is one that we already told you a few days ago, which allows you to put different wallpapers to each chat. In addition, we can superimpose the typical icon mark on any image. This feature, which was only in the trial version, now reaches everyone.
What we did not know is that the application will also include new really striking wallpapers, inspired by nature and architecture. This is something that was already missing and is that the series wallpapers were very outdated, although we could always use ours.
Finally, we can set a different wallpaper in dark mode, capable of changing automatically when the mobile settings change, if we have the night mode programmed. This is perfect to make the chats not too dazzling when we use them in bed.
Improved sticker search
Stickers are becoming more and more popular, especially among teenagers and young people, who use them over emojis. Now we can search for them by means of texts or even using emojis, to find the most appropriate sticker for each moment.
New animated WHO sticker pack
Finally, WhatsApp incorporates a sticker pack from the World Health Organization called “Together at home” that was already available in static form and now comes its animated version.
We will even have it available in Spanish, in addition to 8 other languages.
All these news will arrive in the next few days to the stable version of WhatsApp so we just have to make sure we have it updated.
The WhatsApp entry is updated with new funds, better search and more stickers appears first in The Free Android.
