WhatsApp announces five new features: QR codes, so dark…

WhatsApp, the flagship application in countries such as Spain, has announced that it will update their applications to improve the use of the same. Will be five new arriving, many of which affect to Android.

Stickers animated

The first surprise are the stickers animated, which are already available in the beta version of the application, at least with a pack, as I have recently. For now there is only one pack in the beta version, pro soon will come more.

New QR codes

In the same way that we use the QR codes to enter in to WhatsApp Web, now we can use them to add new users without having to keep your phone manually.

Dark mode for WhatsApp Web

If you’re a fan of the dark mode you’re in luck, because now comes to the desktop application and also to WhatsApp Web.

Best group video

Groups of eight members or less will get an icon to perform a group video call in a simple way. In addition, if we want to focus on one of them, just keep your finger pressed on the video to view it full screen.

States come to WhatsApp for KaiOS

The latest novelty does not apply to Android, but to KaiOS, an operating system that we were able to try recently. The users of these phones will now have the possibility of using the member of WhatsApp.

All these new features will reach the stable version of WhatsApp in the coming weeks, and we only have to update the app in the Google Play Store when that happens.
