WhatsApp already allows you to silence groups forever: how to do it

The possibility of silencing groups on WhatsApp is a function that has been available for some time in Spain, to the delight of many. It is in version 2.20.201.10 of WhatsApp, which is already launched in the Play Store, is where the possibility of silencing these groups forever is finally introduced. In this way, if there is a group whose notifications you do not want to receive anymore, you can permanently silence it. By entering this option, the app eliminates the option to mute groups for a year. Now it will only be possible for 8 hours, a week or forever.

This new feature is already rolling out among users. The way to use it, to silence a group forever, is simple. You will only have to follow these steps:

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Enter the group you want to mute.
3. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.
4. Select the Mute option.
5. In the box that appears, select Forever.

This feature is launched in the new WhatsApp beta. So if you are part of the beta program of the messaging application, you will already have access to it on your Android phone and be able to enjoy this function of silencing groups forever in your account. Unfortunately, the beta program is currently full, so it is not accepting more users.
