In a few days Google will present its new product portfolio. Not only will we have new devices for the home, but there will also be new mobile phones: the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G.
As we have been telling you in recent months, it seems that the strategy that the company has maintained in recent years is not the one we will see now.
Google has decided to lower the price of its mobile phones, and their specifications, one notch, so as not to have to compete against the high-end and high-end premium terminals of firms such as Samsung or Xiaomi.
Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G prices
We saw this with the launch of the Pixel 4a, a terminal with an adjusted cost that although it may be more expensive than direct rivals in terms of performance, it offers Google’s own experience.

Well, days before its announcement, some dealers have published the prices of the two models to be announced. In the UK the price of the Pixel 4a 5G will be 499 pounds and it will have 128 GB of storage. The Pixel 5 will cost 615 pounds with the same memory.
In continental Europe prices will be 499 and 629 euros respectively, although it is possible that they vary a few euros up or down depending on the market and the taxes of each country.
The Pixel 5 will go on sale in black or green and the Pixel 4a 5G in white or black.
We do not know which models will arrive in Spain
Let us remember that, in principle, the Pixel 5 will not arrive in Spain, although we do not know if the Pixel 4a 5G will, especially after seeing the deployment of this network in most of the large operators in the country.
Even so, Google could modify its sales strategy but it seems clear that for Spain it has focused on the Pixel 4a.
