Although with the rise of unlimited call and data rates, summer and Christmas promotions, so popular a few years ago in Spain, have decreased, there are still operators that offer them.
The first to do so in the winter period of 2020 was Vodafone, which has announced a Christmas promotion that will affect its users of prepaid plans.
Free GB for card customers
Given that contract users have unlimited calls and data, Vodafone has focused its Christmas promotion on prepaid card customers.
Specifically, it will offer between 10 and 15 GB free to use in this Christmas period in which we normally use more data, although with the mobility restrictions we have in Spain it is possible that this 2020 will be an exception.
We can obtain that amount of extra GB with each rate renewal, and the promotion will be valid until January 31, 2021.
How many GB will we get for free with the Christmas promotion
Although all prepaid rates have extra GB, the amount depends on the contracted model.
- Vodafone prepaid S. The rate has 6 GB and the promotion gives 10 GB gift.
- Vodafone prepaid M. The rate has 12 GB and the promotion gives 15 GB gift.
- Vodafone prepaid L. The rate has 25 GB and the promotion gives 15 GB gift.
- Vodafone prepaid XL. The rate has 35 GB and the promotion gives 15 GB gift.
As we have mentioned, this offer is already available and we can use it until January 31. We will have to wait to see if the contract clients have any promotion, as well as if the competition responds or not.
