This summer has been full of news in the Vivo terminal catalog, with launches both within its high end as within the mid-range and of its most economical line. Has even shown us a prototype which uses electrochromic glass to change color. Now however it’s the turn of your wearables segment, which has just welcomed the new Vivo Watch.
This smart watch, of which they started talking last March and that was leaked a few days ago in a promotional video, arrives with a heart rate sensor, NFC connectivity and Vivo’s own operating system (FunTouch OS), among other features. All this, in a circular design that inevitably reminds us of the proposals of other brands such as Samsung.

11 sport modes and NFC for mobile payments
The Vivo Watch is available at two options 42 and 46 mm, so that the smallest has a 1.39-inch screen (454 x 454 pixels) and the largest, with a 1.19-inch (390 x 390 pixels), in both cases, AMOLED. In addition, the 42mm model promises an autonomy of 9 days, which, in the case of the 46mm variant, reaches 18 days.
They both have a circular design in 316L stainless steel and they carry Vivo’s own operating system: FunTouch OS for watches, instead of Wear OS. They also offer water resistance up to 5 atm of pressure, include a heart rate sensor and have 2 GB of capacity, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC for mobile payments.
In addition to the functions of a smart watch (notifications, remote control of the mobile camera, alarms, etc.), they are able to recognize up to 11 different sport modes, including walking, running, cycling, swimming …). Nor does it lack sleep monitoring and a microphone and speaker to interact with Vivo’s virtual assistant: Jovi.
Versions and prices of the Vivo Watch
The Vivo Watch is available with a stainless steel case in two sizes (42 and 46 mm) and with a leather or rubber strap. For now, it will go on sale in China on September 28 at a price starting at 1,299 yuan for the 46mm model, about 164 euros to change. For now, it is unknown if it will reach other countries.
