The last major manufacturer to arrive in Spain did so this autumn. We refer to vivo, which brought several devices among which stood out the Vivo X51 5G, possibly the best Android mobile to record video, as we saw in our analysis.
All the devices announced and already sold in our country come with Android 10 as standard, although the firm indicated that they would all be updated to Android 11. What we did not expect is that it would be so soon.
Vivo confirms Android 1 update date in Spain
Through a press release the manufacturer has confirmed that before the end of the year Android 11 will begin to reach your mobiles. In fact, the first to update will be the Vivo X51, which according to the brand in the month of November you will start receiving the OTA. Taking into account that there are only a few days to go, the announcement seems a bit hasty, but hopefully so.
Given the Funtouch OS in Europe it is very similar to Android Stock, hopefully they have not had many problems when modifying the software. An extra advantage to your decision.
We will not only see Android 11 in the high range
The surprise we mentioned in the title is that this mobile manufacturer has confirmed that its mid-range and low-end terminals will also be updated to Android 11 before 2021.
The company has expressly mentioned the vivo Y70, Y20s and Y11s, which would receive the latest version of Android before the end of 2020.
If so, they would become, by far, the benchmark among all brands when it comes to software updates.
We have already analyzed the news in a video, which we recommend that you watch to know what will arrive on vivo mobile phones.
The entry Vivo announces the date of Android 11 in Spain for their mobiles and there is a surprise that appears first in El Androide Libre.
