Redmi is redoubling its efforts to improve its already extensive catalog, so that firms like realme are not so dangerous. In Spain we have seen how these two brands are taking the majority of sales in the mid-range.
There will be two mobiles that will be presented shortly, both under the umbrella of the Redmi Note 9 family.
A Redmi that will be a variant of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite
The first of these will be a terminal very inspired by one of Xiaomi’s surprises in recent weeks, the Xiaomi Mi 10 T Lite.
This model would weigh 214 grams and would have dimensions of 165.4 x 76.8 x 9 mm.
It would use a 6.67-inch screen with 2400 x 1080 px resolution and LCD technology, with a refresh rate that would automatically vary between 30 and 120 Hz.
The front camera would be integrated into a hole in the screen and would have 16 Mpx. The main rear would be 108 Mpx, this being the main differential element with the Mi 10T Lite.
The battery would be 4820 mAh and would have a fast charge of 33W, in addition to the Snapdragon 750G processor, with 5G connectivity.
A second Redmi Note 9 with Mediatek chip
The second filtered model will use a new component list. Its dimensions would be 162 x 77.3 x 9.2mm.
The screen would have the same resolution but a diagonal of 6.53 inches and the front camera will be 13 Mpx. The main rear sensor will be 48 Mpx and the 5000 mAh battery will have fast charge, although in this case it will be 22.5 W.
The chosen processor will be the Mediatek Dimensity 800U, a processor that also has 5G connectivity and compatibility with 120 Hz displays, although the latter is not clear if it will be implemented in this cheaper model.
The prices at which they will come out are not yet known, although in theory they should be announced this month.
