In 2019 and 2020, folding mobiles have started to become popular. Well, popularize in that the Spanish and world public in general have seen them as something tangible, something they can buy. But they are not especially cheap.

The prototype of an Android mobile appears with a sliding physical keyboard, computer appearance and an unimaginable screen for its time.

And they are not the only innovative mobiles that we are seeing. LG has pulled out of its sleeve the LG Wing, a terminal from its experimental models division that will have a company next year.

This is how LG’s rolling mobile will be

We knew that LG is preparing a very special launch for the first quarter of next year. It is another product of a division created especially to launch innovative proposals that allow them to have a new factor in a different way than what has been seen so far.

This terminal, which would be the world’s first roller mobile, is the one that has been seen in some patents, showing how it would work, in a similar way to what TCL showed in some models a few months ago.

LetsGoDigital has been the one that has created 3D images based on those patent images and allows us to see, without having to imagine anything, what this terminal would be like.

As we can see, the design would not be particularly stylized and is that needing a mechanical system would make the mobile phone be somewhat thicker and coarser than usual, although without looking like an ultra-resistant mobile. The same thing happens to the LG Wing, which is especially large and heavy.

The mobile would look similar to the current ones when closed and would be like a tablet, but with a more square format, when open, similar to Samsung’s Folds.

This mechanism would allow multiply the screen area by 2, although it would be possible, in theory, to open it only a little, not completely. This screen would extend from the center, not from the side, allowing a symmetrical opening system.

The rest of the mobile would have similar specifications to the LG Wing, with a USB port, a triple rear camera, a design with contained frames …
