This app maximizes the battery saving mode of your Android

Android has a quite effective saving mode, which can be activated automatically and which deactivates some background processes and functions for save as much energy as possible. Nevertheless, not very customizable, something third-party developers can fix.

We are going to tell you about an application that allows fully customize Android battery saving mode, so you can take it to another level. The application does not need root, but it does need a simple ADB permission that we will explain to you.

Setting the maximum battery saving mode in Android

The first thing we have to do is download the app Buoy, which is priced at 0.99 cents. It is a symbolic price for an app that allows you to modify a system setting to your liking and in a profound way. To make it work we have to give you permission through ADB. If you don’t know how to do it, here you go how to connect an Android mobile to the computer with ADB.

  • Activate the developer options on your Android
  • Give it USB debugging permissions
  • Connect the mobile to the PC
  • Open a command console
  • Copy this command to the console: adb.shell pm grant com.draco.bouy android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

Once we have given you permission, we can start to configure the application. First of all, if we don’t want to get too complicated, we can bet on personalized profiles. Buoy has a total of five profiles, from the most moderate to the most extreme, to make the battery saving mode more or less aggressive. The more aggressive the option, the more features will be layered.

If we want to have manual control over how the saving mode works, we have a good list of options. We can deactivate your notifications, make it work together with saving data or not, activate automatically the night mode or not, speed up CPU performance even when saving mode is active and more functions.

We can also access advanced functions such as disable system animations with saving mode, disable system vibration and more. In short, a complete app to take Android’s battery saving mode to its highest level.
