Last june Google opened registrations for the annual event of the international version of Indie Games Festival 2021, and during these weeks the team of Google play has received thousands of requests from developers for independent games who want to participate in this competition.
In this new installment of the Google Play Indie Games Festival 2021 wants to reward the best indie games from Europe, Japan and South Korea, and in this first step among the thousands of participants have already selected the 60 finalist indie games of this year -20 games per region- that the nine winners will be known next September.

Like last year, the Google Play team will reward the most creative independent games to give them more visibility in the Android application store and thus boost your downloads. Google will select three games per region through three virtual events (one per region) next 4th of September. The events will be free and you only have to register to participate in the festival of Europe, Japan or South Korea.
Then we leave you with the list of the 20 finalists from each region, among which is Sweet Sins Superstars, the only Spanish game that has made it to the final. It is a fun musical game created by the independent studio Platonic Games based in Madrid.
