And is that the new ROM has begun to be received in the global phones of the brand; and can flashearse directly with only download the update file.

Xiaomi has had a small baron in the process of updates due to the coronavirus, but it already has almost everything in place to lead Android 10 mobile phones that were waiting for their desired dose of update. The Xiaomi Mi 9 was already updated this version of the system, also the Xiaomi Mi 9T, but was an intermediate model to overcome the absence: the Xiaomi Mi 9 has begun to be updated to Android 10. As is often the case with important updates of system, the expansion process tends to be slow. This implies that, despite the fact that you have a Xiaomi Mi 9, that’s not a guarantee that you already update: for the moment it has been sighted by some european countries, as is the case of Italy (via Gizchina.it). The ROM is stable, Global, and comes with the security patch February 2020. In principle should not pose problems for the device, at least have not been reported.

The update to Android 10 maintains MIUI 11 as the version of the layer custom, the same version that is up until now. The weight of the ROM is about 2.2 GB, and has already begun to reach out to all global models of Xiaomi Mi 9. What you do not have it and you want to install it already? You can update your phone by downloading the ROM manually from this thread at XDA Developers (do it at your own risk, can always be complications). After:

  • Upload the file that you downloaded to the root of your phone’s storage.
  • Open the settings of the Xiaomi Mi 9 and go to ‘About phone’, at the top of the settings.
  • Go in ‘system Update’.
  • Check manually that you do not have available the OTA. If you say that there is no update, click on the three dots upper menu and choose ‘Select update package’.
  • Looking for the ROM that you downloaded and click on the ‘Ok’ bottom. The ROM will be installed to update your phone.
