One of the best doing in the smartwatch sector is Samsung. In the Android ecosystem (although ironically its watches use Tizen) it is the only one that is at a similar level to that of Apple.
One of his best watches, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, you will obtain one of the most advanced functions of this type of product in Spain: the electrocardiogram.
A feature that is not a substitute for the doctor but can be helpful
When Apple introduced its Apple Watch Series 4 all eyes were on a function that, until now, had not been seen in any mass-market watch: the electrocardiogram.
It was a leap forward in the possibility of taking better control of our health, being able to detect if we have atrial fibrillation in the heart, among other things.
Samsung also later introduced a watch with this function, the Galaxy Active 2, but we could only use it if we resided in South Korea.
Galaxy Watch 3 is updated with EKG in more countries
Now the company has announced that, Starting February 4, users of its successor, the Galaxy Watch 3, will be able to use the EKG feature in 31 new countries, among which is Spain. Of course, it is worth remembering that it does not replace under any circumstances visits to the doctor or tests with devices intended for that use.
In the analysis of this watch, my colleague Iván Peñalba was already delighted but surely he would be more so now, as he can have one of the most useful functions of this type of watch in it.
